Our USDA Black Angus prime rib of beef is wet aged and slow-roasted in whole at least 4 hours. Prime ribs are served tableside according to our guest's preference in 4 cuts: California Cut, English Cut, Lawry Cut and the largest portion, Diamond Jim Brady Cut.

What makes Lawry’s unique is the emphasis we put in showcasing a memorable dining experience. The signature art deco, stainless steel “silver” cart is hence a grand concept in bringing hard-carved roasted rime ribs tableside, and creates warm hospitality between our staff and guests.

Lawry’s co-founder Lawrence L. Frank had designed the carts himself. No expense was spared to make the carts magnificent. The first two were built in 1938 and each cost nearly as much as a Cadillac at the time. A cart weighs 600 pounds and maintains an approximate 190 oC to keep all ingredients hot, even the plates that we served the prime ribs with.

Apart from prime ribs that are served tableside, we are also known for the showmanship in making The Famous Original Spinning Bowl Salad. Crisp romaine and iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, shredded beets, are all from the U.S. Adding on chopped eggs and crunchy sourdough croutons, the salad mix is spun on a bed of crushed ice and tossed with our exclusive sherry Vintage Dressing. A chilled fork and plate go along with the salad to add extra freshness to every bite.

Have you noticed this little fellow on every table? Lawry’s Seasoned Salt is the perfect companion to your tasting journey at Lawry’s. It is also used in daily preparation for our prime ribs. Co-founder Lawrence L. Frank experimented for three months in his home kitchen to develop the blend of 17 herbs and spices. In later years, under his son Richard N. Frank’s leadership, the product became America’s most popular formulated seasoning. The once small family-run company, Lawry’s Foods, Inc. grew into a multi-million dollar business.  That company was sold in 1979 to Thomas J. Lipton, Inc., a division of Unilever.  In 2008, they sold the Lawry’s brand to McCormick & Co., which manages it today.

Lawry’s Seasoned Salt is available for purchase at the restaurant.

Lawry’s private labels are famous for their inviting aromas, fresh flavors and balanced finish. In three varietals: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the labels are by far the bestsellers on the wine menu. The labels are also available for purchase Lawry’s to enjoy at home.

It is known that wine can enhance the way food tastes and in 1990, Richard N. Frank, Chairman of the time, wanted to make wine pairing an affordable enjoyment for all Lawry’s guests. Frank had entrusted Californian winery Round Hill after a series of blind tasting.
